Women Who Run with the Wolves Workshops
“Stories are medicine.” ~ Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés in Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Women Archetype
Practice the medicine. Connect with your inner Wild Woman. Embrace your strength, your courage, your vigor, your wolf.
Kara Hoppe, MA, MFT, is facilitating in-depth personal learning, growing, and healing experiential workshops with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés’s breakthrough book, Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype.
In an intimate and safe environment, participants will:
- Explore how to use the myths and stories as medicine
- Identify archetypes in each story and learn how to ground the powerful archetypal energy to ignite new perceptions and/or change
- Create artwork to further mythological expression
- Learn advanced dream work to place personal and collective dreams next to their stories
This is an opportunity to study Women Who Run with the Wolves with a woman who ran with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés and trained at the Archetypal and Cross-Cultural Studies Institute. Ms. Hoppe has begun a 5-year training with Dr. Estés on how to teach her book to creative and inspired individuals.
This class is for wild beings who are drawn to learning more about the Wild Woman archetype, who love stories, and who are interested in mining Dr. Estés’s myths for personal medicine. The group will be small and intimate so participants can go deep with the material.
WWRWTW workshops practice the medicine, myth by myth, twice a month, on Saturdays from 1-6pm at Spellbound Sky in Silverlake. Each workshop takes one myth from WWRWTW and works intimately with its bones, providing mythological medicine to heal the modern person.
Each workshop includes:
- One 5-hour meeting
- Artwork materials
- Inner work tools for advanced dream work, archetypal exploration, and myth medicine application
- Nourishing snacks
It is not necessary to attend all WWRWTW workshops or to take them consecutively. Take them all or pick your favorite stories.
Each workshop is $145
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP. Space is limited.
“A healthy woman is much like a wolf: robust, chock-full, strong life force, life-giving, territorially aware, inventive, loyal, roving.” ~ Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés
